The DSO industry has seen a shift in how organizations attract dentists and how they ensure the best patient care is being provided.

Here are 52 DSOs to know in 2026:

Affordable Care (Morrisville, N.C.): Affordable Care is the largest DSO in the U.S. focused primarily on tooth replacement services. The DSO operates the Affordable Dentures & Implants brand, with each practice being owned and operated by a dentist and featuring an on-site dental laboratory. The organization has served more than 8 million patients since its founding.

Allied OMS (Southlake, Texas): Allied OMS is a management services organization dedicated exclusively to oral and maxillofacial surgery practices. Its model is designed to help surgical practices grow efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient care. Allied OMS also invests in technology and infrastructure to enhance clinical outcomes and operational performance. Founded in 2020, the company has grown to support a network of more than 30 oral and maxillofacial surgery practices in 12 states.

Amani Dental Partners (Manhattan Beach, Calif.): Amani Dental Partners is a dental partnership organization designed to protect clinical autonomy while providing operational support for practices. Using AI-native tools like Jaza, MedPut, and Basis, Amani streamlines scheduling, patient communication and financing. 

Archway Dental Partners (Danbury, Conn.): Founded in 2024, Archway Dental Partners became the largest DSO in Connecticut in 2025 with its acquisition of five practices in the state. The organization also supports practices in New York. 

Beacon Oral Specialists (Dallas): Beacon Oral Specialists is a network connecting the nation’s leading oral and maxillofacial surgeons. The organization provides specialized support in recruitment, finance, HR, marketing, IT, compliance and practice management, enabling surgeons to focus on patient care while growing their practices. Beacon is dedicated to clinical excellence through its network of over 100 oral and maxillofacial surgeons across more than 34 practices in 12 states. 

Benevis (Atlanta): Founded in 2002, Benevis provides dental practice management services to nearly 120 supported locations. The DSO has more than 1.2 million patient visits each year and provides care to nearly 4 million pediatric patients. 

Bright Direction Dental (Chicago): Bright Direction Dental is a privately owned dental support organization founded in 2019 that supports more than 40 practices across six Midwestern states. Built by independent dentists, the organization prioritizes clinician-led decision-making, continuing education, and preventive care while pursuing disciplined regional growth and strong patient-centered practice partnerships.

Burch Dental Partners (Rockford, Ill.): Burch Dental Partners is a clinician-owned DSO 

that works closely with its partners to strengthen practice performance without disrupting clinical workflows. In addition to delivering excellent patient care, the company is passionate about fostering a positive team environment. The organization follows a clear formula for practice success, which includes prevention-focused care, a commitment to community and using the most up-to-date technology.

Cal Dental USA (Los Angeles): Cal Dental USA supports more than 20 locations in California. Community outreach is a core part of its mission, with initiatives that include giveaways, youth events, and oral health education. Cal Dental has also built partnerships with local organizations and public figures to expand awareness around dental health. The company has won several awards, including being ranked among the fastest-growing companies by Inc. and the Financial Times.

Coast Dental (Tampa, Fla.): Coast Dental is a multispecialty dental group with locations in Florida, Georgia and Texas. The organization provides services including preventive dentistry, orthodontics, oral cancer screenings and implants. Coast Dental is dedicated to using the latest technology, most recently investing in AI diagnostic technology and a cloud-based practice management system. 

DECA Dental Group (Dallas): DECA Dental is a clinician-founded and clinician-led DSO. The company supports a network of more than 150 practices across eight states.

Dental Care Alliance (Sarasota, Fla.): Founded in 1991, Dental Care Alliance supports approximately 400 allied practices and more than 900 dentists across 24 states. The organization provides practice-support solutions that help dental professionals focus on patient care while advancing the practice of dentistry. Dental Care Alliance network spans all major dental specialties, ensuring comprehensive care across its allied practices.

Dentive (Provo, Utah): Dentive focuses on helping practices scale while preserving their clinical autonomy. Dentive’s model emphasizes collaborative partnerships that elevate patient care and practice success. Dentive was also given the Innovation Disruptor Company of the Year award in the health and wellness category by Globee in 2025.

GPS Dental (Jonesboro, Ark.): GPS Dental (Guided Practice Solutions) is a dentist-founded DSO supporting 113 practices and 114 partners across 28 states. With more than 300 dentists and 2,000 team members, GPS Dental provides tailored operational support while preserving clinical autonomy, helping practices optimize patient care and business performance.

Great Expressions Dental Centers (Southfield, Mich.): Founded in 1982, Great Expressions Dental Centers is a leading dental care provider with about 250 practices across nine states. The organization delivers preventive, orthodontic, specialty and cosmetic dental services while prioritizing clinical excellence. Earning the Summit Compliance Award from Mesa Labs, Great Expressions Dental is recognized for excellence in sterilization and patient safety.

Guardian Dentistry Partners (Miami): Guardian Dentistry Partners is a partner-driven dental organization established by a group of dentists and a family office founded in 2018. The network has grown to more than 148 partners and 164 practices across 11 states, emphasizing a culture of collaboration, shared expertise and long-term partnership among entrepreneurial dentists.

Heartland Dental (Effingham, Ill.): Founded in 1997, Heartland Dental is one of the largest dental support organizations in the United States, supporting more than 1,900 offices. The organization provides operational and leadership support that empowers dentists to lead successful practices while delivering quality patient care and fostering continuous professional development. Heartland Dental was recognized by Newsweek as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in Health Care 2025.

Hero Practice Services (Colorado Springs, Colo.): Founded in 2006, Hero Practice Services is dedicated to expanding access to high-quality pediatric dental and orthodontic care across more than 30 practice locations. The organization serves hundreds of thousands of patients each year and has partnered with Give Kids a Smile for 16 years.

Imagen Dental Partners (Scottsdale, Ariz.): Imagen Dental Partners is a dentist-led dental partnership organization built on clinical autonomy and shared ownership. Through a collaborative network and operational support Imagen Dental Partners aims to support and strengthen performance and patient care.

Innovate 32 (Nashville, Tenn.): Innovate 32 has made multiple practice additions in 2026 to expand its network in the South and Mid-Atlantic. The organization’s advisory board guides the company through clinical decision-making. 

Lone Peak Dental Group (Denver): Lone Peak Dental Group was founded in 2003 to support pediatric dentistry offices. The DSO has expanded its presence in several states in recent years through its strategy of de novo offices and acquisitions. It supports more than 75 offices across 15 states.

MAX Surgical Specialty Management (Hackensack, N.J.): MAX Surgical Specialty Management focuses on supporting oral and maxillofacial surgery practices through comprehensive management services. The clinician-led organization aims to partner with the most talented surgeons in the industry not only to provide excellent patient care, but to ensure it maintains a collaborative support network for its partners.

MB2 Dental (Dallas): MB2 Dental partners with hundreds of dentists across the country, offering operational resources while allowing clinicians to retain ownership and autonomy. Its unique partnership framework has helped make MB2 one of the fastest-growing dental networks in the U.S. The company has also won several awards, including being named a best-led company by Inc. in 2021.

Mortenson Dental Partners (Louisville, Ky.): Mortenson Dental Partners is the largest DSO owned entirely by dentists. The organization has a network of more than 150 practices and more than 2,500 staff members across 10 states. 

Motor City Dental Partners (Detroit): After acquiring its first practice in 2012 and launching its dental platform in 2017, Motor City Dental Partners was formally established in 2021. The DSO received a private equity funding investment in 2025 to fuel its growth. 

North American Dental Group (Pittsburgh): Founded in 2008, North American Dental Group supports more than 200 practices and more than 400 dentists across 15 states. The organization’s practices are integrated into local communities with support from NADG.

OMS360 (Cumming, Ga.): OMS360 is dedicated to supporting oral and maxillofacial surgery practices. The company’s partnership methodology involves leadership development and continuing education, customized practice growth plans, and patient journey analyses. This strategy has resulted in approximately 20% annual practice growth for newer partners and 67% cumulative growth for tenured partners. 

Park Dental Partners (Minneapolis): Park Dental Partners aims to support dentists throughout all career stages to elevate their practices without compromising patient care. The DSO ensures exceptional patient care by adhering to rigorous standards and consistent feedback, whether through accreditation processes or patient surveys. The company launched its IPO in December with the goal of fueling its next stage of growth through practice acquisitions, de novo offices and new specialty offerings.

PDS Health (Henderson, Nev.): Founded in 1994 as Pacific Dental Services, PDS Health Dental supports dentist-owned practices with operational infrastructure, business expertise and proven systems that enable clinicians to focus on patient care. Today, the organization supports more than 1,000 dental practices, 5,000 oral health providers and 800 owner-dentists, helping deliver over 7 million patient visits annually.

Phase 1 Equity (Chicago): Phase 1 Equity is a dentist-owned platform supporting orthodontists and pediatric dentists with nearly 30 locations in seven states. The organization gives about 90% of proceeds to the dentists, aiming to maximize their outcome from future sales. 

Premier Care Dental Management (New Hyde Park, N.Y.): Premier Care Dental Management supports more than 150 practices across a variety of specialties, including pediatric dental care, orthodontics and general dentistry. The dentist-led organization provides clinicians with opportunities for career development, continuing education and industry collaboration. Ultimately, this support helps its partners deliver patient‑centered care with an emphasis on accessibility and affordability.

Providence Dental Partners (Macon, Ga.): Providence Dental Partners’ partnership approach focuses on innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement to push patient care to the next level. The company boasts personalized treatment plans, state-of-the-art technology and a patient-centric approach. Providence Dental Partners was recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies by Inc. in 2025, with a 97% three-year growth rate.

Qualitas Dental Partners (Sharon, Mass.): Qualitas Dental Partners is a DSO focused on building long-term partnerships with high-performing dental practices throughout the Northeast. Qualitas emphasizes a collaborative culture that supports both clinical excellence and practice growth. The company is owned and governed by its dental partners in order to protect and promote the entrepreneurial spirit of dental practice owners.

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry (Cary, N.C.): Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is a dentist-led dental group with 70 locations in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The organization aims to expand dental care access in the Southeast by offering affordable membership plans and a variety of services, including family dentistry, oral surgery, orthodontics, prosthodontics, implants and cosmetic dentistry.

Rising Tide Dental Partners (New York City): One of the newest organizations in the DSO space, Rising Tide Dental Partners has grown to 27 supported practices since its founding in 2025. The organization is dentist-owned and dentist-governed with leadership and board representation composed of dentists.

Rock Dental Brands (Little Rock, Ark.): Rock Dental Brands supports more than 100 practices across its network. The organization’s Doctor Executive Committee provides oversight of patient care, maintains defined clinical guidelines for all practices, evaluates the peer review findings, and organizes continuing education.

​​Sage Dental (Boca Raton, Fla.): Sage Dental supports more than 150 practices across Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee. The group’s practices provide services including orthodontics, periodontics, oral surgery and endodontics.

SALT Dental Partners (Phoenix): SALT Dental Partners has a network of more than 200 practices and nearly 300 dentists across 20 states. The dentist-led, multispeciality DSO partners with pediatric dentistry, general dentistry, orthodontic and oral and maxillofacial surgery practices.

Silver Creek Dental Partners (Dana Point, Calif.): Silver Creek Dental Partners is a boutique dental support organization focused on affiliating with prominent practices in California, emphasizing culture, clinical autonomy and ethical partnerships. Silver Creek supports long-term growth across 19 affiliated practices in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and Temecula Valley.

Smilebliss Orthodontics (Metairie, La.): Smilebliss Orthodontics offers orthodontic care for patients of all ages and provides structured follow-ups through its Retainer Promise Program. Focusing on combining effective treatment techniques with consistent support, Smilebliss Orthodontics operates in locations across 14 states.

Smile Brands (Irvine, Calif.): Founded in 1998, Smile Brands supports more than 600 affiliated dental offices across 29 states with business services that allow dentists to prioritize patient care. With more than 6,800 team members and 2,200 affiliated dentists, the organization is driven by its mission to deliver “Smiles For Everyone!” to patients, providers, and communities nationwide. Its affiliated network spans more than 75 dental brands and continues expanding access to quality oral healthcare.

Smile Doctors (Dallas): Founded in 2015, Smile Doctors is the largest orthodontic-focused DSO in the U.S., supporting more than 550 locations in 36 states. In 2025 alone, the organization added more than 100 practices to its network. 

Smile Partners USA (Troy, Mich.): Smile Partners USA supports more than 122 dental practices across Alabama, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio. The organization provides operational support that enables dentists to focus on delivering patient-centered care while maintaining long-term relationships with communities. Smile Partners USA’s network maintains a 4.8 average patient rating across more than 68,000 Google reviews and 90% clinician retention.

Sonrava Health (Orange, Calif.): Sonrava Health is one of the largest DSOs in the U.S., supporting more than 500 practices across its dental brands. Its network includes Western Dental, DentalWorks, Perfect Teeth, Brident and Vital Smiles. These practices serve millions of patients each year and play a significant role in expanding dental care access nationwide.

Specialized Dental Partners (Franklin, Tenn.): Founded in 2018, Specialized Dental Partners is a specialty dental service organization focused exclusively on supporting advanced clinical specialties. The organization partners with dental specialists to provide operational support, leadership development and integrated care models that enable practices to maintain clinical autonomy while enhancing collaboration and delivering comprehensive specialty care. 

Specialty1 Partners (Houston): Specialty1 Partners supports more than 200 practices and more than 350 specialists across 28 states. The organization enters into joint venture partnerships, allowing practices to maintain clinical autonomy. 

Straine Dental Management (Sacramento, Calif.): Founded in 2022, Straine Dental Management is a dentist-owned dental support organization formed when Straine Dental Consulting and 33 practices united. Supporting 56 offices nationwide, Straine provides analytics, consulting, and management services to help practices grow while preserving clinical autonomy and strengthening operational performance.

The Aspen Group (Chicago): The Aspen Group is the second largest DSO in the U.S., supporting more than 1,100 independently owned and operated practices. The organization emphasizes technology, accessibility and operational efficiency. The company also invests heavily in its team through TAG University, which provides continuing education and leadership development training to fuel practice excellence and long-term career growth. 

The Smilist (Great Neck, N.Y.): The Smilist is a Northeast-based dental group with more than 110 locations and 600 dental providers across Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Founded 10 years ago, the organization operates 80 dental affiliations for patients and families throughout its network. 

T Management (Sandy Springs, Ga.): Founded in 1999, T Management is its commitment to preserving clinical autonomy for its partner clinicians. The DSO structures its partnerships to keep dentists fully in control of clinical decision-making at their practices. T Management has a network of 12 practices.

U.S. Oral Surgery Management (Irving, Texas): Founded in 2017, U.S. Oral Surgery Management is an oral surgery-focused MSO that supports 242 practices across 31 states, including seven new states in the past three years. Under its business model, USOSM surgeon partners receive a significant financial stake in the company.

Vitana Pediatric & Orthodontic Partners (Plantation, Fla.): Vitana Pediatric & Orthodontic Partners aims to help dental specialists take their financial and professional growth to the next level by providing operational support without limiting clinical autonomy. Vitana is the fastest-growing DSO in the U.S., with a 1,325% three-year growth rate and a 98% clinician retention rate.
