What the DSO accomplished this year:
- Expanded its network with the addition of Houston-based Crown Dental. Crown Dental joined Western Dentals affiliate Brident Dental & Orthodontics
- Partnered with creative advertising agency Spread on two marketing campaigns in November
- Made several leadership appointments, including Paul Holt as executive vice president and CFO; Vivek Kumar as chief credit officer; Eric Royal as chief compliance officer; and Keith Kooman as vice president of financial planning and analysis
- Opened its 234th office in California in May
- Partnered with dental implant maker Straumann Group to provide its offices with implants, abutments and crowns
- Selected Windsor, Conn.-based Voya Financial in March to be the DSO’s new recordkeeper and service provider for its 401(k) retirement savings plan
