Dentsply Sirona, the largest diversified manufacturer of professional dental products and technologies, and A-dec, a leading manufacturer of dental solutions, today announced the expansion of their strategic partnership.

Today, A-dec and Dentsply Sirona announced the extension of their strategic partnership with the integration of the Dentsply Sirona Midwest Motor System directly into A-dec 500 Pro and A-dec 300 Pro delivery systems.
“By integrating the Midwest Motor System into A-dec delivery systems, we’re making it easier for clinicians to access the precision and versatility they rely on every day,” said Mark Bezjak, Group Vice President, Americas at Dentsply Sirona. “This new phase of our strategic partnership advances connected dentistry by bringing together integrated technologies, software-enabled updates, and global support—helping dental teams work efficiently and stay focused on patient care.”
Key benefits for clinicians
- The Midwest integration brings restorative, endodontic, implant, and apex-locating capabilities together into one seamless A-dec solution that eliminates the need for redundant tabletop devices.
- For endodontic workflows, key capabilities include an integrated apex locator that enhances efficiency, along with a preloaded file library of Dentsply Sirona’s WaveOne and Reciproc systems.
- For implant workflows, the system offers a built-in peristaltic pump for simple delivery of sterile saline solution and preloaded implant libraries to support streamlined, efficient procedures.
- A single touchscreen and shared foot control across all procedures simplify workflow, ensure consistency, and reduce the mental fatigue of switching between devices.
- Integrated implantology will be available on A-dec 500 Pro delivery systems; integrated apex location will be available on both A-dec 500 Pro deliveries and A-dec 300 Pro deliveries with DS5 touchscreens.
The Midwest integration is powered by A-dec+, an upgradable software platform that provides seamless updates to connected A-dec equipment. Practices with integrated Midwest endodontic and implantology capabilities will automatically receive software updates, including additions to Dentsply Sirona libraries (endodontic files and implant workflows), ensuring that clinical protocols stay current without requiring hardware changes.
“A-dec is committed to building delivery systems designed for longevity, so operatories can evolve as practices grow,” said Ryan Williams, A-dec Senior Vice President of Product & Technology. “By offering premier integrated solutions such as Midwest’s apex location and implantology, doctors can expand the range of treatments they provide, delivering more comprehensive care through a single, seamless interface.”
This clinical integration will be available in Q1 2026 through selected dealers, as a factory-installed option on new A-dec 500 Pro and A-dec 300 Pro delivery systems and as retrofit kits for existing A-dec Pro delivery systems.
