The Camlog and Conelog titanium abutment blanks from Medentika have been discontinued and effective 1 Apr 2024, the Ceramill M-Center will also no longer fabricate Camlog titanium abutments from Medentika. However, users have the option of having the original abutments fabricated directly by Camlog who will provide users with the necessary library.

The Medentika library will no longer contain data for the Camlog implant systems, and there is a separate library for using the original titanium abutment blanks from CAMLOG Vertriebs GmbH, which is available via the Ceramill Software Manager.

In addition, Amann Girrbach announced that due to further development of the product portfolio in the consumables area, it will discontinue the liquid systems ‘Ceramill Liquid FX’ and ‘Ceramill Liquid CL’ for staining zirconia before sintering as of 31 Mar 2024. The ‘Ceramill Liquid New Formula’ liquid system continues to be available for purchase.

Furthermore, due to the product launch of the 98mm portfolio including plastic frame, which represents the ongoing development of the product portfolio of our CAD/CAM materials, the company has decided to discontinue the 71mm product portfolio

This affects the following product groups: The zirconias Ceramill ZI, Zolid HT+ White, Zolid HT+ PS, Zolid FX Multilayer, Zolid Gen-X, the sintered metal Ceramill Sintron as well as all polymers and waxes in the 71mm format.

A Ceramill 71 mm blank clearance sale on the above range will be held at discounted rates to allow users the opportunity to upgrade Ceramill Motion 1 at favourable conditions or to switch to a 98mm blank holder for the Ceramill Motion 2, Mikro 4X and Mikro 5x milling machines.
