A dual-cured, flowable composite core material with a simplified application technique that provides durable direct and indirect restorative results

Most clinicians have experienced this age-old scenario—a patient comes rushing into the practice in utter distress because their crown has broken. Their margins are miraculously still intact, but part of the core buildup is missing.
Chet Klos, DDS, recalled numerous instances when he faced this exact challenge and was tasked with seamlessly restoring his patient’s tooth. “Restoring missing parts of a core buildup is easier with CORE-FLO DC,” he said. “The dual-cured, flowable material allows me to cement a post while still being hard enough to use for the core buildup.”
Excellent Physical Properties and Easy Delivery
Ideal for core buildup, post cementation, and dentin replacement, CORE-FLO DC is a versatile composite core material with excellent compressive and flexural strength across direct and indirect restorations. It offers clinicians a simplified technique to cement a post and build up the core with a single application—without dripping or slumping.

“The fact that it is a dual-cured composite core material is a blessing,” Dr. Klos said, appreciating that CORE-FLO DC ensures a thorough cure across curing modes while saving placement time during procedures. “The use of the automix dual-syringe dispenser and its angled tip makes delivery easy, too.”
Reliability at the Core
CORE-FLO DC is radiopaque and available in Natural/A1 and Opaque White shades. With optimal handling characteristics, easy preparation, and low shrinkage, the material also has efficient working and setting times with a strong bond to dentin and fiber posts.
Ultimately, Dr. Klos concluded, “I have been using CORE-FLO DC since it was introduced, and it has given me no reason to look elsewhere for another composite core material.”
