Scimedent Health, formerly known as Trend Exploration, said it has bought the rights to an emergency dental kit product that contains various dental treatments for emergency situations. New probiotic toothpaste battles oral bacteria

Designs for Health has launched a probiotic toothpaste that does not include fluoride, abrasives, food dye, or preservatives. The dentifrice, PerioBiotic, contains Lactobacillus paracasei, which “has clinically demonstrated its ability to kill off harmful strains of oral bacteria, including Streptococcus mutans,” the company said.
