EnvisionTEC previews high-speed 3D printer

EnvisionTEC announced it is previewing its new Vida Continuous Digital Light Manufacturing (cDLM) high-speed 3D printer. The cDLM technology allows for accurate, high-speed 3D printing with fewer supports, the company said. Vida cDLM is the second 3D printer based on the technology. Henry Schein acquires anesthesia supply company

Henry Schein announced it has agreed to acquire Southern Anesthesia + Surgical. Southern Anesthesia + Surgical distributes anesthesia and surgical supplies, including controlled and noncontrolled pharmaceuticals, to more than 11,000 oral surgeons, periodontists, and dental anesthesiologists. Southern Anesthesia + Surgical will become a part of the Henry Schein subsidiary ACE Surgical Supply, according to the company. The financial terms of the transaction were not released.
