1. Dentists suggest cutting executive compensation, which exceeds the pay at other Massachusetts nonprofit insurers.

2. In 2015, eight executives at Delta Dental’s parent company earned more than $1 million in total compensation. In 2011, only one executive had that earning.

3. Dentists say the new contract would slash reimbursement rates for a variety of dental procedures by as much as 30 percent.

4. With 24 million members in 30 states, the company said it generated $1.8 billion in revenue through all its subsidiaries in 2015.

5. Around 4,200 Massachusetts dentists have signed the new contract.
