On Women’s Equality Day, Dental Care Alliance (DCA), one of the nation’s leading dental support organizations, proudly announced the official launch of its new Employee Resource Group (ERG)—DCA Women.
The organization aims to foster a connected community of women and their allies to advocate for equality, amplify voices, and support personal and professional development.
Given the significant representation of women in the U.S. dental profession, DCA recognizes the critical role they play in shaping the future of dental care.
“Today is not only a day to celebrate equality, but also a moment for action,” said Dr. Larry Benz, DCA CEO. “DCA Women will create new connections, development opportunities, and advocacy platforms to ensure a voice for the women who drive business and organizations forward.”
DCA Women will focus on five core areas:
Growth: Providing leadership development, learning, and career growth resources.
Service: Connecting with local communities and giving back.
Health: Supporting the holistic well-being of women both in and out of the workplace.
Culture: Strengthening connections through celebration, storytelling, and shared experiences.
Advocacy: Amplifying women’s voices and recognizing their challenges and contributions.
DCA is committed to creating an environment where all team members can thrive, and the launch of DCA Women embodies that commitment.
The organization is open to all team members, including women and their allies, who are committed to building a more inclusive and stronger future.
Dr. Johanna (Tes) Tesoniero, Chief Dental Officer and ERG sponsor, added, “The rise of women will drive growth for the entire team.
Launching DCA Women on Women’s Equality Day serves as a reminder of the progress we’ve made and a clear path forward. Together, we can make a profound impact for our team, our patients, and our community.”
