SACRAMENTO, Calif., Feb. 27, 2026 — Dr. Andrea Joy Smith will present at the Winter Symposium hosted by the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) in Washington, DC this March, organizers announced.
The international meeting brings together implant dentists from around the world for advanced continuing education, collaboration, and clinical exchange.
Smith will serve as a table clinic presenter, focusing on the use of one-piece dental implants to replace missing teeth. Her session will outline implant anatomy, surgical placement protocols, and research supporting long-term clinical outcomes.
Attendees will review a detailed case study that includes pre-operative and post-operative cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) scans, final radiographs, and clinical photographs of the completed restoration.
Her presentation will be part of a judged competition among clinicians. The top presenter will receive a $500 award and complimentary registration to the next ICOI meeting.
“I am honored to present alongside colleagues advancing implant dentistry worldwide,” Smith said. “This is an opportunity to share my experience with one-piece implants and learn from clinicians with diverse treatment approaches.”
In addition to presenting, Smith will participate in advanced continuing education courses during the symposium. She said the training supports her ongoing commitment to providing modern implant solutions and mentoring dentists seeking to expand their surgical skills.
The ICOI Winter Symposium remains a leading forum for education, innovation, and international collaboration in oral implantology.
