Dental Nonprofit to Open New Clinic in Maplewood

Community Dental Care, a nonprofit dental provider, will soon open a new 32,000-square-foot dental clinic in Maplewood.

The facility, named the Carlton Street Clinic, is set to begin operations next week.

The new clinic will create 40 local jobs, including positions for dentists, dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff, according to a recent press release from the organization.

The opening marks an important milestone for Community Dental Care, coinciding with its 20th anniversary.

Karen Flanagan Kleinhans, CEO of the nonprofit, said the new location will expand access to dental care for both children and adults across the Twin Cities metro area. She added, “Thanks to generous support from foundations, businesses, and individuals, we can grow our mission and serve thousands more patients at this new clinic.”

Community Dental Care currently operates five clinics across the Twin Cities, Rochester, and Buffalo.
