
Mr. Simon Fraser has been the Head of the Dentsply Sirona Implants SBU since Mid-June. He joins Dentsply Sirona from Abbott and succeeds Mr. Lars Henrikson, who will retire on 31st July 2018.
Dentsply Sirona has appointed Mr. Simon Fraser as the new Group Vice President leading Dentsply Sirona Implants. He takes on this responsibility from Mr. Lars Henrikson who will retire on 31st July 2018. Mr. Simon Fraser will be located in Molndal, Sweden.
Prior to Dentsply Sirona, Mr. Fraser led the US commercial operations of Abbott’s Rapid Diagnostic division. In the three years before Abbott, he was President of Latin America for Alere. For 15 years, he worked in several commercial positions with Johnson & Johnson in its medical devices and pharmaceutical sectors. At Johnson & Johnson, he was also in charge of strategic marketing and business development responsibilities. Mr. Simon Fraser started his professional career by creating and successfully managing a chain of physiotherapy clinics in Montreal, Canada.
A Canadian, Mr. Simon Fraser graduated as a B.Sc. in Physiotherapy from Montreal University, Canada, and holds an MBA from INSEAD, France. To his new role with Dentsply Sirona Implants, he contributes his broad strategic and business experience as well as a deep knowledge and understanding of the healthcare markets.
