Dentsply Sirona has appointed Joanna Yao as as group vice-president for APAC RCO, effective end of last year. She is based in Singapore and will oversee operations across the Asia-Pacific region.
Yao is the first woman to hold the APAC RCO leadership position for Dentsply Sirona. She brings over 25 years of experience in management consulting and general management, with experience in driving growth, innovation, and culture transformation within the healthcare industry in Asia-Pacific. Before joining Dentsply Sirona, Yao held senior positions at Baxter Healthcare, most recently serving as vice-president of Asia (Greater China, Korea, India & South East Asia). Her extensive experience across various markets and her deep understanding of the healthcare landscape thus make her suited for this role.

Her leadership approach is rooted in fostering growth and building collaborative teams that thrive on shared learning, drawing strength from different perspectives and experiences.
