Dentsply Sirona, the largest diversified manufacturer of professional dental products and technologies, has announced a major donation to Atlanta’s Ben Massell Dental Clinic—a program of Jewish Family & Career Services (JF&CS) and the city’s only provider of free dental care for underserved populations. This contribution will help expand access to high-quality treatment for those who face financial barriers to oral healthcare.

Dentsply Sirona has completed a transformative donation of advanced dental equipment, technology, and consumables to the Ben Massell Dental Clinic in Atlanta, Georgia. This support is in line with the company’s sustainability program, “BEYOND: Taking Action for a Brighter World,” and reinforces its mission to increase access to oral health.
This comprehensive package was designed to empower the clinic to connect with more patients, reduce wait times, and deliver life-changing treatments previously out of reach for those facing financial barriers. Dentsply Sirona’s donation equips the historic clinic—which has provided free-of-charge treatments to an average of 1,200 underserved individuals annually in Atlanta for over a century—with advanced workflow solutions to enhance the efficiency and impact of its all-volunteer clinical team.
Donation Details
Dentsply Sirona’s donation includes a comprehensive digital dentistry suite designed to transform patient care—featuring two Primescan AC intraoral scanners for fast, precise digital impressions, paired with a CEREC Primemill milling machine and CEREC SpeedFire sintering furnace to deliver same-day crowns and bridges. The addition of a Primeprint 3D printer will reduce denture production time from 14 weeks to a fraction of that time. Beyond hardware, the clinic will receive essential consumables—including resins, Cavitron ultrasonic scalers, Midwest handpieces, and implant solutions—unlocking advanced restorative procedures previously inaccessible to its underserved patient population.
“At Dentsply Sirona, we believe innovation should connect people to care—not create barriers. This donation bridges the gap between advanced dentistry and underserved communities, empowering the Ben Massell Dental Clinic to deliver life-changing treatments with incredible efficiency,” said Bruce Peatey, Group Vice President, Americas RCO. “Together with their inspiring volunteer staff, we’re not only transforming lives in Atlanta but also supporting the broader mission of advancing oral health care worldwide—making high-quality, innovative dentistry more accessible to all.”
“This is our clinic’s greatest technological leap in decades,” said Dr. Jonathan Dubin, a volunteer dentist at Ben Massell Dental Clinic. “From same-day crowns to implant-supported dentures, we can now offer treatments that were previously unimaginable for our patients.”
Long-term Transformation Through Technology
Beyond transforming individual patient experiences, this donation will create lasting systemic improvements for the clinic’s operations and community impact. By adopting modern digital dentistry solutions, the Ben Massell Dental Clinic will enhance efficiency and maximize the value of every dollar spent—ensuring more resources can be directed toward expanding patient care and services. These efficiency gains will also minimize required appointments for prosthetic cases, a meaningful change for patients facing transportation barriers or rigid work schedules. With the Primeprint 3D printer, the clinic can anticipate a substantial decrease in the wait time for dentures, increasing its productive capacity and addressing more unmet patient needs.
“This donation allows us to rethink what’s possible for our community,” said Barbara Jones, Director of Ben Massell Dental Clinic. “It’s never about just fixing teeth. Our doctors are changing lives, restoring dignity, opportunity, and both mental and physical health—now in ways we never could before.”
