Planet DDS, a provider of cloud-based dental software solutions, has announced a partnership with the Dentist Entrepreneur Organisation (DEO). This collaboration will make the Planet DDS Launchpad programme available to more than 550 DEO members for the first time.

The partnership aims to broaden the range of tools and resources available to DEO members, who collectively represent over 1,800 dental practices across the US. The Launchpad programme offers support for dental groups in their early stages of expansion, including access to cost savings, guidance, and scalable digital systems.

According to Emmet Scott, chief executive officer of DEO, the organisation seeks to support dentists as they develop their business and leadership capabilities. Scott noted that the partnership with Planet DDS would help members gain access to tools and services designed to aid business growth.

Supporting the development of dental groups
Launchpad was developed to address the challenges that smaller, privately owned dental groups often face when expanding. As part of the partnership, DEO coaches will assist members who join Launchpad, providing insights, education, and networking opportunities available within the Planet DDS network of clients, consultants, and industry partners.

Under the collaboration, DEO members will have access to:
• Discounted software packages: Up to 80% savings on practice management and imaging software.
• DEO member credit: A $1,000 credit towards implementation services when signing up with Launchpad.
• Guidance and support: Practical assistance by Planet DDS and consulting from DEO coaches.
• Scalable technology: Access to Denticon Practice Management and Apteryx Cloud Imaging with artificial intelligence (AI), which includes analytics, patient communication, and AI-enabled imaging features.
• Operational tools: Software that supports scheduling, automation, and data-driven decision-making.
• Access to enterprise-level systems: A move towards integrated digital solutions in place of older, fragmented systems.

Eric Giesecke, chief executive officer of Planet DDS, stated that the company aims to support dental groups focused on growth by providing them with digital infrastructure and resources designed to help them scale their operations.
