Durable Instruments, Comfortable PPE

Dr. Sital Patel didn’t realize just how inefficient the instruments she’d been using were until she tried a few from SurgiMac. “We use a lot of sectional matrices in our restorative work, and I find with the standard college pliers in my setup, I’m fighting to retrieve them,” he said. “These pliers provided positive and definitive engagement no matter how tight the contact was. I could retrieve the matrices without any problems.”

More Comfortable Gloves

Although in the past he would opt for latex gloves, Dr. Brent and his team (who prefer nitrile) lauded SurgiMac’s MacSoft nitrile gloves, which offer exceptional durability and a comfortable fit.

“They are easier to get on and just have a more comfortable feel,” Dr. Brent said. “Tactile sensitivity is better, and my confidence in maintaining instrument control was higher than with any other version of nitrile gloves I’ve used.”
