Mr. Jamali has more than 25 years of experience in the medical device industry, including 20 years in executive leadership roles. He spent six years at Medtronic, where he served as senior vice president and president of early technologies and senior vice president and president of respiratory, gastrointestinal and informatics.
Prior to Medtronic, Mr. Jamali held leadership roles at Covidien, Cardinal Health and Baxter.
The spinoff is set to be complete by mid-2022.
