NorthShore Health Centers is joining dentists nationwide to provide vital oral health care to children who often go without. On February 7, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., NorthShore will host its annual Give Kids A Smile Day.
The event offers free dental services for uninsured children ages 4 to 16. Families can bring their children to participating NorthShore locations for:
A dental exam
X-rays
A professional cleaning
A free electric spin brush and toothpaste
The free care will be available at these NorthShore Health Center locations:
- 6450 US Highway 6, Portage
- 6091 Broadway, Merrillville
- 3099 Central Ave, Lake Station
- 6920 Indianapolis Blvd, Hammond
The program is part of a nationwide effort to close gaps in children’s dental care and promote lifelong oral health.
