Heartland Dental introduces the Orahh Care Dental Community

Heartland Dental has announced the launch of the Orahh Care Dental Community, an opt-in network designed to connect doctors supported by the organisation across its practices. The initiative aims to encourage collaboration, share clinical resources and best practices, and support the delivery of comprehensive dental care within a coordinated national framework, while allowing individual practices to retain their local identity.

According to Heartland Dental, the community is intended to provide participating clinicians with access to shared tools, professional development opportunities and greater visibility, with a focus on improving continuity of care and patient experience across participating locations. Patients may also benefit from clearer pathways for long-term oral healthcare through connected practices within the network.

Heartland Dental’s president and chief executive officer, Pat Bauer, said the initiative is intended to balance national collaboration with local practice independence. The organisation states that the community will also support professional growth and innovation through collaboration among participating teams.

From a marketing and engagement perspective, Heartland Dental reports that the Orahh Care Dental Community will allow supported practices to participate in coordinated initiatives at scale, while maintaining their connections with local communities. The organisation has indicated that further details, including information on how to locate participating practices, will be shared closer to the community’s planned activation in the first quarter of 2026.

Selected by AARP

Heartland Dental also confirmed that the Orahh Care Dental Community has been selected by AARP, reflecting a shared focus on improving access to comprehensive oral care and patient experience for individuals aged 50 and over. According to both organisations, the collaboration is intended to help participating practices support earlier diagnosis, personalised treatment planning and long-term oral health management through training and the use of digital diagnostic technologies.

AARP stated that the selection was based on Heartland Dental’s focus on oral health education and patient experience for older adults. Through the Orahh Care Dental Community, AARP members are expected to benefit from access to a network of supported practices offering a range of routine, restorative and preventive services.

Heartland Dental noted that a key focus of the Orahh Care Dental Community will be engaging and educating patients aged 50 and above about the importance of oral health. This demographic group often presents with more complex dental needs, including higher rates of restorative care, periodontal treatment, tooth replacement and long-term preventive maintenance.

The company stated that it will continue to invest in partnerships and innovation aimed at supporting clinicians, practice teams and patient care as the Orahh Care Dental Community develops.
