Henry Schein Dental has announced its upcoming 2021 webinar series, “Breaking Down Barriers to Care: Treating Patients with Disabilities” featuring host Maureen Munnelly Perry, DDS, MPA.
The series will include three free webinars designed to address common disabilities, ways to effectively adapt treatment approaches to meet unique patient needs, and techniques for behaviour management.
While attending the sessions is free, for a fee of $20 per webinar attendees can obtain one hour of continuing education credit.
The series was started in November 2020 and previous webinar sessions are available for on-demand viewing. The schedule for the upcoming three events in the series is:
- 18 February at 6:00 p.m. EDT – “Dental Considerations for Patients with Epilepsy and Seizures”
- 23 March at 6:00 p.m. EDT – “Dental Discussion on Intellectual Disabilities Featuring Down Syndrome”
- 21 April at 6:00 p.m. EDT – “Autism: What’s New, What’s True and How Do We Provide Care?”
