Henry Schein Introduces Open-Architecture Digital Dental Workflow

Henry Schein (Nasdaq: HSIC) has launched LinkIt, a new digital workflow designed to simplify dental practice management.

The platform allows dental teams using Dentrix, Henry Schein One’s on-premise practice management software (PMS), to connect seamlessly with a variety of digital imaging, planning, and design systems. LinkIt, now available in the U.S. and Canada, offers an end-to-end workflow solution for dental practices.

LinkIt is built to reduce repetitive data entry and streamline the dental workflow. Professionals can enter case details once in Dentrix, launch intraoral scanning software directly from the platform, and maintain a smooth process from imaging to design to delivery. The platform also serves as a central repository for diagnostic imaging, supporting devices from multiple manufacturers.

Henry Schein says the platform demonstrates its commitment to addressing the needs of modern dental practices. LinkIt promotes interoperability, reduces workflow complexity, and eliminates technology silos. Clinicians can work across preferred brands and platforms. The system already integrates with Planmeca and Medit, and has recently added Dentsply Sirona’s DS Core, with additional scanner integrations expected soon.

“LinkIt makes technology feel invisible,” said Ali Hyatt, Chief Customer and Growth Officer at Henry Schein One. “It allows dentists to focus on their patients rather than the tools they use.”

Mackenzie Richter, Vice President of Global Commercial Digital Workflow Solutions at Henry Schein, added, “Dental professionals need flexible, interoperable systems. LinkIt answers that need. It is a future-ready platform that simplifies digital workflows, supports prosthetic processes, and enhances every step of the patient journey.”
