How 10 entrepreneurial DSOs are expanding their networks

Here is how 10 DSOs with fewer than 100 offices have grown their networks in the last three months:

1. Salt Lake City-based Nuvia Dental Implant Center opened a practice location in Richmond.

2. Choice Dental Group, a mini-DSO based in Texas, opened a location in Killeen, Texas.

3. Jenks, Okla.-based Lumio Dental purchased a dental practice in Southlake, Texas.

4. Hackensack, N.J.-based MAX Surgical Speciality Management added its first practice in New York City, partnering with New York Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Implant Center.

5. Southlake, Texas-based Allied OMS expanded into the Greater Austin market by partnering with Heart of Texas Oral Surgery. It also added Kerrville (Texas) Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery to its network.

6. Cary, N.C.-based Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry added Palms Dentistry to its network.

7. Chicago-based Phase 1 Equity added its first New Jersey and Ohio practices.  

8. Irving, Texas-based Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics is planning to open the 50th practice location in its network Oct. 27.

9. Nashville, Tenn.-based Chord Specialty Dental Partners added a three-location pediatric dental practice. 

10. Salt Lake City-based SPP Dental Partners added a Nevada dental practice to its network.
