Illinois bill requires dental offices to give patients 30-day notice of closure

House Bill 2077 would also require dental practices to inform patients about how to obtain copies of their dental records, according to a May 22 news release from Rep. Steve McClure, R-Springfield, a sponsor of the bill.

The bill was approved by the Senate May 19 and now sits with the House for a vote.
