The imes-icore group, a leading global provider of integrated digital dental CAD/CAM production systems, has announced the next step in its succession planning with the appointment of Sabine Bois as chief executive officer and managing director, effective 1 Feb.
After more than two decades leading the company, founder and outgoing chief executive officer, Christoph Stark will remain involved during a structured transition period to ensure continuity and a smooth handover. Having played a central role in building and shaping imes-icore into an internationally recognised partner for dental CAD/CAM solutions, Stark will initially serve as co-chief executive officer before turning his focus to product development and innovation — an area that has long been central to his work.
“imes-icore has been my entrepreneurial home for many years, and I will continue to support the company as we develop new and innovative solutions,” said Stark. “Together with a fantastic team, we have built a strong international brand known for innovation and quality. I am confident that Sabine Bois has the experience and perspective needed to lead imes-icore into its next phase of growth.”
Bois brings extensive international leadership experience in the medtech sector, with a strong track record in growth and international expansion, market development, operational excellence, governance and financing. She has led global organisations, overseen complex growth phases and most recently served as chief executive of international medtech company Occlutech.
“imes-icore has an exceptionally strong foundation and a culture defined by innovation and long-term vision,” said Bois. “Christoph Stark and his team have built a company with an outstanding international reputation. My priority is to build on this strength through sustainable growth, further international expansion and the delivery of strategically important innovations.”
