Dr. Michael C. Alfano

Dr. Alfano’s distinguished career spanned clinical science, academic leadership, and public advocacy. A Rutgers graduate, he earned his DMD from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, followed by a PhD in Nutritional Biochemistry and Oral Biology from MIT. He went on to complete advanced periodontal training at both Harvard and Fairleigh Dickinson University.
