PITTSBURGH, Jan. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — A dental hygienist from Okotoks, Alberta, has developed a new dental tool designed to improve routine teeth cleaning and checkups.
The patent-pending SKM-1 dental scaler allows hygienists and dentists to access areas of the mouth that are difficult to reach with conventional instruments, particularly the lower anterior teeth that tilt toward the tongue.
The device aims to enhance plaque and calculus removal, promoting better oral hygiene.
