IntelePeer has joined the Henry Schein One Academic Partner Programme as an authorised integration vendor. Through this collaboration, its conversational AI platform is now integrated with axiUm, the clinical management system used by many dental academic institutions.
The integration enables dental schools and academic clinics to implement AI voice agents and call centre support within their existing workflows. The aim is to optimise appointment scheduling, reduce the number of missed calls, and provide additional support for administrative teams.
“IntelePeer’s inclusion in the Academic Partner Programme is a step toward modernising communication systems within dental education,” said Frank Fawzi, chief executive officer of IntelePeer. “By integrating our AI platform with axiUm, institutions can streamline their workflows, support staff and students, and enhance patient engagement through consistent, data-driven processes.”
Henry Schein One’s Academic Partner Programme brings together selected vendors to offer solutions that enhance educational and clinical operations. It gives academic clinics the ability to customise their technology setup according to their specific requirements.
“Welcoming IntelePeer into our programme strengthens the collaborative ecosystem we are building,” said Rick Gay, general manager, academic at Henry Schein One. “Our goal is to support institutions in training future dental professionals while advancing the quality of care delivered.”
Dental institutions face ongoing challenges such as high no-show rates, staff shortages, and irregular student schedules. Tools like IntelePeer’s platform are designed to support patient-centred approaches that help address these issues. Intelligent automation allows clinics to optimise appointment booking, gather feedback through surveys, and respond more efficiently to patient needs.
According to IntelePeer, the system’s capabilities can help reduce appointment gaps, improve student scheduling, and support faster administrative response times. These outcomes align with institutional goals to deliver high-quality care while preparing students for future professional practice.
