The Medical Protection Society (MPS), including Dental Protection, has announced the appointment of Karen Miller as its next Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Karen, the first female CEO of MPS, is set to join the organisation in Feb 2024, succeeding Simon Kayll, who will retire at the end of 2023 after serving at MPS for 30 years, including 12 years as CEO.
She brings significant experience from the insurance industry, with a 5-year tenure as CEO of ABSA General Insurance in South Africa and, most recently, as Chief Operations Officer (Insurance) at Saga in the UK.
Karen stated, “It is an honour to lead such a respected international organisation where members are central, and there is a shared commitment to delivering a service that reflects the professionalism and integrity that MPS is renowned for.
