Rebilda Post GT voted “Innovation of the Year”
Renewed confirmation of the confidence people have in VOCO: at the Polish specialist trade fair Krakdent 2017, Rebilda Post GT, the first bundled, glass-fibre-reinforced composite root post, was voted innovation of the year by a prestigious panel of specialists. The experts were particularly impressed by the Rebilda Post GT system, which is simple, but very efficient: unlike conventional root posts, Rebilda Post GT is not a single post, but rather composed of a bundle of thin individual posts, which adapt optimally to suit any root canal morphology. The fact that the root canal does not need to be widened with a drill to accommodate a correspondingly sized post offers the additional advantage of preserving existing tooth substance.
This is a very convincing argument for dentists, who can also use Rebilda Post GT to particularly good effect in root canals which are not round or have not been prepared with instruments thanks to its unique structure and design. The Krakdent panel rewarded this extra proficiency in the post-endo field with the innovation award, which was presented to Jan Ziesch, the Area Manager in the VOCO sales team responsible for Poland, during the trade fair in Krakow. Mr Ziesch was particularly delighted about this positive practice feedback for Rebilda Post GT. “The great responses here at the trade fair show that we are offering dentists a real enhancement in the post-endo field with the innovative root post system that allows them to tailor treatment and preserve existing substance,” said Mr Ziesch.
He was even more delighted because it was his second time accepting the award: another VOCO innovation won over the Polish panel of experts last year, when the first purely ceramic-based restorative material Admira Fusion was awarded the prize in 2016.
