LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – Accessing dental care can be a challenge, especially for residents without insurance. Lansing Elite Dental is working to change that by offering free dental visits.
The nationwide Free Dentistry Day will take place on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025. Lansing Elite Dental will open its doors from 8 a.m. to noon, providing free appointments for residents in need.
Appointments are recommended to guarantee a spot, but walk-ins will be accepted until noon if openings remain. Services include routine cleanings, exams, fillings, and extractions, depending on individual needs. The dental team will evaluate each patient and provide additional care when necessary.
Albany Richardson, business assistant at Lansing Elite Dental, emphasized the community’s need for accessible dental care.
“We know there is a massive need for patients who can’t get dental treatment because of finances, family dynamics, or the lack of insurance. We’re reaching out to help people get healthy,” Richardson said.
Tru Family Dental in Portland will also participate in Free Dentistry Day on Saturday, offering similar services to support local residents.
