On Saturday December 06 the city of Los Algodones, Mexico held a very especial event for our beloved snowbirds; the city held its annual Welcome Party.
The town of Los Algodones, Mexico wants to welcome Canadian and American citizens to their town, yes this city is really the town of the snowbirds. Once you arrive at the city, you will see the love and appreciation the city feels for you, our beloved visitors.
The event will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 2:00 p.m. (Arizona time); in the event you will be able to see many performances, among them: Aerial Dancers, comedic shows, a Giant Bear, Cabaret Dances/performances, many food booths and the booth with all the services offered in the city. We invite you be part of all this and all future events that will be held in the city of Los Algodones.
Los Algodones Welcome Party
Once the welcome party has begun, our visitors could see all the services offered by the city businesses and the many performances, held in your honor. In Los Algodones, there are three primary areas of service: Dental Services, Optometry Services, and Pharmacy.
The Performances
Los Algodones Welcome Party is an event open for people of all ages; even though our special guest are the snowbirds, this event is a family oriented party and everyone is welcome to participate and see the shows. There were also several stands selling our visitors traditional Mexican dishes and in some stands, there were free samples. Also, there were several sweepstakes and in several booths snowbirds were able to receive free margaritas y free beer.
Regarding the performances, our visitors were able to enjoy several dance styles, live music (piano and saxophone), aerial gymnastics and danzon performances (the official musical genre and dance of Cuba). Without a doubt, our beloved snowbirds and visitors had a great time and enjoy all the efforts made by the city of Los Algodones.
Pharmacy Care
I the city of Los Algodones there are several pharmacies that take care of their patients, offering their service and care. During the Los Algodones Welcome Party, the Purple Pharmacy LIQUIS PHARMACY, offer their service as well as free tequila shots. The pharmacy is one of the largest pharmacy in the city and soon visitors will have another option. During the event Best Optical was offering their visitors special prices, discounts, free glasses and even eye exams. Many visitors benefited from all the services offer by the optical booths available during the Los Algodones Welcome Party.
