Mindray has launched two new workstations for perioperative settings, the A8 and A9 anesthesia workstations.
The workstations have new features such as a high-flow nasal cannula integrated into the platform design. They also have a volume exchanger that delivers ventilation and reduces downtime with a novel breathing system.
Other features include the following:

- e-AGSS system that monitors the scavenging flow rate and automatically switches off when in standby
- Customizable profiles for different clinical scenarios or use requirements
- Protective ventilation toolkits that support decision-making to help prevent postoperative pulmonary complications
The new workstations retain traditional features to support patients and clinicians throughout the perioperative care path, Mindray said.
