Morita will not take part in IDS 2021

The Japanese company Morita, a major manufacturer of medical technical products with worldwide sales companies, decided after detailed internal consultations to forego the International Dental Show (IDS) in Cologne, Germany, from 10 to 13 March 2021.

Morita’s claim to a trade fair appearance is to create customer experiences, maintain existing personal contacts and generate new ones, and offer excellent advice. Unfortunately, given the likely ongoing restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, these trade fair goals will hardly be able to be met at IDS 2021. A large number of Morita’s international customers and partners will not be able to visit the fair.

Jürgen Fleer, general manager of J. MORITA EUROPE GMBH, explained, “The intensive and appreciative interaction with customers and partners as well as the responsibility towards our employees are among the basic values of our company and determine our actions. Under the given circumstances, however, we cannot bring our international teams together at the trade fair, nor can we really be there for our customers to experience. In addition to the concern for the safety of our employees and visitors, this in particular led to our decision not to take part in IDS 2021. Instead, with the ‘Time for Morita’ campaign, we offer our customers attractive opportunities to be close to us and our products.”

J. MORITA EUROPA GMBH wants to pass on any budgets that have become free due to non-participation directly to its customers by foregoing price adjustments in 2021.

The Japanese company will expand the “Time for Morita” campaign, which was successfully launched in Germany in September 2020, to include Europe. With the formats Meet MORITA and MORITA Talk, the company offers exclusive event formats for a lively exchange with users and customers.
