Louisville, Ky.-based Mortenson Dental Partners has added its first practice in Missouri.
The DSO partnered with Nikodem Dental and Custom Dental Management, which provides general dentistry services in the St. Louis and Springfield, Mo., communities.
Mortenson Dental Partners will support six of the practice’s locations, according to a Dec. 16 news release.
This is the company’s fifth deal this year, bringing its network to 156 practices in 10 states.
Mortenson Dental Partners CFO Jeff Reibel said Dec. 16 that the transaction was supported by a $160 million syndicated credit facility from the DSO’s lenders, which include Fifth Third Bank, J.P. Morgan and Truist Bank. The credit facility also includes a $40 million accordion, according to the news release.
