For nearly 50 years, MBP Orthodontics has served the North Delta and Surrey communities, earning a reputation for personalized care. While many know them as local orthodontists, the clinic’s leadership extends to the national stage of orthodontics in Canada.
Drs. Maduke, Bulat, and Peres are not only practitioners but also Clinical Assistant Professors at the University of British Columbia and examiners for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. They mentor and evaluate the next generation of orthodontic specialists, ensuring emerging clinicians follow rigorous, evidence-based standards while fostering professional responsibility.
Their commitment to excellence is reflected in memberships with multiple national and international associations, including the British Columbia Society of Orthodontics, the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontists, the World Federation of Orthodontists, and the Angle Society of Orthodontists.
MBP Orthodontics remains a privately owned, locally operated clinic, led by the current ownership group for 25 years. “We answer directly to our patients, not a corporation,” says Dr. Bulat. “We tailor care to each individual, whether for cosmetic improvements or complex cases.”
A signature feature of MBP Orthodontics is its collaborative approach. Each patient’s treatment plan is developed by all three orthodontists, combining their expertise to ensure comprehensive, evidence-based care. “From simple to complex cases, we plan together and communicate clearly with patients and families,” says Dr. Peres.
The clinic emphasizes that the orthodontists are part of a larger team dedicated to patient experience. “Our team’s support is key to delivering the caring, high-quality environment our families deserve,” note Drs. Maduke, Bulat, and Peres.
