(ABC 6 News) — Northwest Dental Group in Rochester is set to give back to the community by hosting a Free Dental Day, offering patients access to essential oral health services at no cost.
The event will provide professional dental checkups and treatments for those who may not otherwise have access to care.
Services will include exams, cleanings, fillings, and extractions, depending on patients’ individual needs.
ABC 6 News Chief Meteorologist Randy Brock spoke with Katie Post, owner of Northwest Dental Group, who emphasized the importance of making dental care more accessible. “We know there are many in our community who struggle to afford dental services, and this is our way of helping to bridge that gap,” Post said.
The Free Dental Day initiative is part of Northwest Dental Group’s ongoing commitment to community outreach and preventive care. Organizers expect to serve dozens of patients during the event, which will run on a first-come, first-served basis.
Post added that the event not only provides critical dental services but also raises awareness about the importance of oral health in overall well-being. “We hope this encourages people to take steps toward regular care, whether here or elsewhere,” she said.
Free Dental Day will take place at Northwest Dental Group’s Rochester location.
