
Pearl is poised to maintain its growth in 2025 following a year of innovation and expansion. Raising one of the largest venture financing rounds in dental AI, an expansion into Europe, Asia, and Canada, and continuing product innovation are among the milestones supporting Pearl’s journey foward in 2025.

Product innovation: Pearl’s 2024 product innovations include Precheck, an AI-powered insurance eligibility and benefits verification tool, and Calibrate, an AI-powered clinical calibration and training tool used by providers, educators like UCLA and University of the Pacific, and payors.
Financing and strategic investments: Pearl raised $58m in Series B funding to accelerate its mission to elevate patient care in dentistry. Left Lane Capital led the round, with participation from Smash Capital, Alpha Partners, Craft Ventures, and Neotribe Ventures. Pearl also secured strategic investments from the American Dental Association and the Dental Innovation Alliance VC Fund.
Global partner network expansion: Pearl announced several partnerships in 2024, integrating its clinical AI technology to dentistry software platforms around the world. More than 150 thousand dentists and practitioners in North America, Europe, the UK, Canada, and APAC can now utilise Pearl’s products. New partners include Peak, Software of Excellence, Midwest Dental Equipment & Supply, Ora, Tab32, Archy, Patterson Dental, and Plandent.
Leadership expansion and company recognition: Pearl announced new appointments in 2024, which included McKenzie Fagan as vice-president of DSO sales, Brian Kim as chief product officer, and Bobby Cooper as vice-president of customer success. Pearl was presented with the 2024 Power Partner Award Winner by Inc; the company was also featured on the Inc. 2024 Best in Business list in the health products, general excellence category. CB Insights named Pearl one of the most promising digital health startups of 2024.
