PepperPointe Partnerships, one of the largest privately doctor-owned, doctor-led dental service organizations (DSOs), has expanded its senior leadership team with the creation of three new vice president roles to support continued growth and operational scale.
The new positions—Vice President of Operational Support, Vice President of Financial Operations, and Vice President of Strategic Finance—are intended to enhance leadership capacity, strengthen operational infrastructure, and support long-term, sustainable growth across PepperPointe’s network of partner dental practices.
“These roles represent an intentional investment in leadership depth,” said Dr. Greg White, President and CEO of PepperPointe Partnerships. “As we grow, it’s critical that we continue to strengthen the teams responsible for operational excellence and long-term financial health, while maintaining a clear and focused organizational structure.”
Alex Dotson has been promoted to Vice President of Operational Support after more than six years with the organization. He previously played a central role in advancing accounting processes, improving workflows, and delivering data-driven insights across PepperPointe and its three group practices.
In his new role, Dotson will oversee IT, procurement and vendor relations, and data analytics, with a focus on improving system integration, cross-functional communication, and the performance of support services that allow practices to concentrate on patient care.
Alisa Houp has been promoted from Director of Accounting to Vice President of Financial Operations. Her expanded role includes oversight of finance and accounting functions, as well as revenue cycle management. Houp will focus on financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and scalability, supporting consistent performance across partner practices while strengthening accountability and transparency.
Nicole Nickels, CPA, joins PepperPointe as Vice President of Strategic Finance. She brings more than 12 years of experience providing strategic financial leadership. Nickels will lead financial planning and analysis, support growth initiatives, and advise on strategic client projects. Her responsibilities also include supporting doctor retirement and transition planning and identifying financial risks and opportunities aligned with PepperPointe’s long-term goals.
“Alex and Alisa have consistently demonstrated strong leadership and commitment, and I’m excited to elevate them into these new roles,” Dr. White said. “Nicole is an excellent addition to our team, and her expertise will be vital as we continue to grow strategically in support of our mission to protect patients, support doctors, and elevate care.”
The addition of these leadership roles reflects PepperPointe Partnerships’ continued evolution into a more strategically aligned organization, structured to meet the growing needs of its partner practices while supporting high-quality dental care in the communities it serves.
