Planmeca will unveil a wide array of digital dental innovations and new products at IDS 2025. Visitors can look forward to experiencing the benefits of Planmeca solutions through hands-on demonstrations as well as discovering the latest additions to the product line-up.
From 25 to 29 Mar 2025, dental professionals worldwide will gather at the International Dental Show (IDS) in Cologne, Germany. The dental fair is a key event for Planmeca, providing an opportunity for the company to engage with dental professionals and partners, introduce new products, and demonstrate the benefits of Planmeca solutions through live demonstrations.
IDS 2025 also marks 20 years since Planmeca has introduced its first digital 3D imaging unit. Since then, Planmeca has developed additional digital dental solutions which have brought better care, ease of use, and peace of mind to dental professionals and patients around the world. At IDS 2025, visitors can discover Planmeca’s new generation of products supporting dental innovation.
Highlights from Planmeca at IDS 2025 will include new product launches across all major categories: dental units, imaging, CAD/CAM, and software. The Planmeca booth will also feature areas showcasing solutions for dental specialists, dental education, as well as dental laboratories and technicians.
In addition, product demonstrations will emphasise the advantages of Planmeca’s all-digital workflow. At the centre of the workflow stands the Planmeca Romexis software platform, which integrates all Planmeca devices and offers a robust set of tools and features – including AI and virtual reality – for various needs and specialities. Planmeca experts will also be on hand to provide in-depth demonstrations and answer any questions, ensuring that attendees gain a comprehensive understanding of how these innovations can enhance their practice.

Furthermore, Planmeca, KaVo Dental and HeySmile will host a joint press conference to reveal their latest product innovations on 24 Mar 2025.
