What are the Private Dentistry Awards?

The Private Dentistry Awards is among the most respected accolades in UK and Irish dentistry. They set the gold standard for outstanding patient care, innovation and clinical excellence across the private dental sector.

Where and when will the Private Dentistry Awards take place?

This year’s awards ceremony takes place on Friday 21 November 2025 at The Grosvenor House Hotel, London.

How to enter

Please note that entries have now closed for 2025 – look out for more details on entry for next year’s awards.

  1. Visit https://dentistry.co.uk/awards/private-dentistry-awards and click ‘register now’
  2. Add your details and select your categories
  3. Submit your completed entry by the deadline.

To be eligible, you must not be under any ongoing General Dental Council (GDC) fitness to practise investigation or subject to any related conditions.

Top tips for a strong entry

  • Write 750 to 1000 words on why you deserve the award – please stick to the word count!
  • Carefully follow the judging criteria listed under each category in the entry guide
  • Include supporting evidence such as images, testimonials, marketing materials or videos – each file must be no larger than 100MB, and all visual assets must be embedded within your document or presentation (eg PDF, Powerpoint).

Who are the judges for the Private Dentistry Awards?

  • Ahmed Hussain

    Ahmed graduated from Bart’s and The London in 2006. Shortly thereafter, he completed his MJDF and MFDS. In 2015, he earned an MSc in restorative dentistry with distinction from Eastman Dental Institute, which was subsequently published in a renowned journal.Ahmed has co-authored several books and he runs a live composite course at his multi-award-winning private practice in London, along with a sought-after masterclass. He has shared his expertise at numerous conferences and universities across the country. Recently, he was honoured with a Fellowship from the College of General Dentistry.

    Dev is a dual specialist in prosthodontics and oral surgery, and the founder and partner of the multi-award-winning Dental Rooms. He is also associate professor and programme director of the MSc in implant dentistry at UCL Eastman Dental Institute. His key interest is education and training in implant dentistry, combining clinical innovation with mentoring to develop the next generation of implant dentists.
