Quality Equipment from One Trusted Source

A Texas clinician shares how Ritter Dental helped outfit his new practice from the ground up, and how the company’s superior customer support and high-quality equipment make it a 1-stop shop for everything dental

When Pedram Doroudgar, DDS, purchased a dental practice in San Antonio, TX, he knew he needed just about everything, and he wanted an up-to-date, tech-savvy solution for his patients. What to do? While it could have been a daunting experience, it really wasn’t, Dr. “D” said, and he believes it’s thanks to relying on Ritter Dental for the entire process.

“I like the quality of Ritter equipment, and they had everything I needed in stock, including a CBCT, digital camera, intraoral sensor, and autoclave, as well as a wide selection of colors for the chairs and stools, so I didn’t have to wait,” he shared. Plus, there was the all-important issue of cost. “Some of my colleagues started their practices at the same time as I did,” Dr. D noted, “and the price they received from other companies is not even comparable to what I was offered from Ritter.”

Powering the Practice

First on his list? Dr. D purchased the EXCOM hybrid 5 central suction system, which uniquely combines dry and semi-wet suction capabilities in a single device, eliminating the need for separate units.

“We like it because it’s easy to use, and if I think I hear an extra sound, which honestly doesn’t happen very much, Ritter comes in soon after I call,” he said.

Next on Dr. D’s list was a compressor, and he purchased Ritter’s RA 7/4 D, an oil-free, adjustable pressure system featuring a low noise level, compact design, and minimal maintenance.

“Ritter gave us very good product demonstrations and maintenance instructions,” he explained. “It’s easy to empty and can accommodate up to 6 chairs, so we won’t have the added expense of another compressor if we expand.”

Comfort & Quality Engineering

No practice would be complete without dental chairs and stools. Dr. D purchased 4 Vanguard dental units. Ritter’s most advanced design, the unit features German engineering for seamless technology integration and smooth hydraulic movement for fast and quiet positioning.

“The Vanguard allows the Cavitron to be installed on the unit, and I particularly appreciate using the foot pedal to adjust the chair, which is very helpful during surgeries,” he shared. “I can preset the chairs in different positions, and my patients tell me they’re really comfortable.”
