Transformed and reimagined as a global online event, the International Team for Implantology (ITI) World Symposium 202ONE will take place on 1-5 September 2021, and has opened for registration. The ITI has orchestrated a compelling online event that is set to rival traditional on-site alternatives.
In seven on-screen dental appointments, individual patients will explain their concerns and how these affect their daily life. In seven live sessions, the experts then address these real-life concerns directly with a series of lectures as well as in moderated group discussions live from the ITI studio in Switzerland.
“The ITI has stepped up brilliantly to the challenge of making this online event both informative and enjoyable,” said Stephen Chen, president of ITI. “This will not be just your standard webinar; it will be as inclusive and immersive as our traditional flagship event and distributed over several days to ensure a lasting educational experience.”
The scientific programme is paced over five days with three to five hours live streaming each day. Before watching how an expert faculty proposes to meet each session patient’s needs, participants have the opportunity to study a patient history and dossier online.
To guarantee a truly global event experience, the sessions are live streamed in a different geographic region each day during prime time. These are supplemented by live talk shows on diverse clinical and non-clinical topics as well as clinical sessions hosted by the ITI’s industry partner Straumann.
The World Symposium 202ONE platform will open in August with a variety of on-demand content including videos, posters and detailed patient dossiers for each of the seven live sessions. All content will remain available until the end of September.
Registration is now open and special early-bird rates are available until 30 June 2021.
