Roseman University of Health Sciences, in partnership with PDS Health, has officially dedicated the new Thorne Clinic for Integrative Oral Health and Primary Care on its Henderson, Nevada campus.
The 12,000-square-foot facility, featuring 35 dental chairs, sits adjacent to Roseman’s existing dental and orthodontic clinics and a forthcoming primary care clinic, expanding the campus’s total dental capacity to 62 chairs and 17,300 square feet.
Fully funded by PDS Health and its CEO Stephen E. Thorne IV, the clinic represents a major philanthropic investment, covering design, construction, equipment, and staffing.
The modern, patient-centered facility aims to enhance community access to dental care while providing a cutting-edge clinical education environment for Roseman’s dental students.
Starting January 2026, Doctor of Dental Medicine students from Roseman’s South Jordan, Utah campus will relocate to Henderson to provide faculty-supervised patient care, with student capacity expected to grow in coming years.
The clinic will also implement Epic®, a comprehensive electronic health records system, enabling integrated dental and medical data to improve treatment planning and early detection of systemic health risks.
Digital imaging technologies from DEXIS, including intraoral scanners and cone beam CT systems, will further support advanced training in modern dental technologies.
“Thorne Clinic allows students to learn how oral health and overall health intersect while using the latest technologies,” said Dr.
Frank Licari, Dean of Roseman University College of Dental Medicine. Stephen E. Thorne IV added, “This integrated setting prepares students to work collaboratively and deliver better patient outcomes.”
The dedication ceremony included tours showcasing the clinic’s advanced facilities, marking a significant milestone in Roseman University’s commitment to orthodontics, dental education, and community-based healthcare.
