Boca Raton, Fla.-based Sage Dental has partnered with Forward Science, an oral health-focused biotechnology company, to launch a non-drug periodontal therapy.
PerioStōm is an FDA-approved treatment that aims to improve patient recovery and outcomes after scaling and root planing procedures, according to an Aug. 19 news release.
The two companies began their partnership in 2024 to assess the treatment’s clinical impact in real-world patient settings. The treatment is now available to dental practices nationwide.
