Samia Family Dentistry Offers Free Dental Care for Veterans on November 14

Accra, Ghana—Samia Family Dental Clinic will host a free dental care day for veterans on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The event aims to honor veterans’ service by offering free dental services, including fillings, extractions, cleanings, crowns, X-rays, fluoride treatments, and consultations.

Dr. Paul Samia and his team recognize that many veterans face challenges accessing dental care. This event aims to ease their burden while thanking them for their dedication and sacrifice.

Even for veterans who are not on the estimated 32,800 homeless veterans list in the United States (as of January 2024), many experience loneliness and a loss of friendships, identity, and purpose after leaving the military.

Nearly half report experiencing these struggles, and combined with any trauma they’ve endured, veterans are at increased risk for physical and mental health issues.

A graduate of Wake Forest University, Dr. Samia values community involvement and volunteerism. He has contributed his dental skills to projects such as Mission of Mercy, Give Kids a Smile, and the Kenya Dental Assistance Project, improving access to healthcare for vulnerable populations.

“Our veterans have sacrificed so much for our freedom. This is our way of giving back,” said Dr. Samia. “We want every veteran in the community to know that they are valued, respected, and loved.”

Eligible participants must present a valid veteran’s ID to receive services. Veterans are strongly encouraged to call ahead for an appointment, but walk-ins are also accepted if space is available.

Samia Family Dentistry invites local media, organizations, and community members to help spread the word so that as many veterans as possible can benefit from this event.
