Smartee Denti-Technology, a leading innovator of clear aligner solutions, and Dental Monitoring, a global leader in AI-driven remote orthodontic monitoring, announced a new integration designed to streamline and accelerate workflows for orthodontists and dental professionals.
Traditionally, optimizing clear aligner treatment requires patients to visit their orthodontist for an intraoral scan, which is then submitted to Smartee to generate an updated treatment plan.
While this process is highly accurate, it often results in additional appointments and increased time for both patients and clinicians.
Through this new collaboration, Smartee and Dental Monitoring connect their systems to streamline the process. When a patient takes an intraoral scan using the Dental Monitoring app, the data is automatically processed and uploaded to the Smartee platform.
Orthodontists can directly access this information and combine it with the initial intraoral scan, the current stage file from the Smartee treatment plan, and the patient’s latest remote scan to generate an updated SmartSTL file. This allows for precise treatment plan updates without the need for additional intraoral scans or office visits.
This new feature is now available to Smartee doctors in the EU, Asia Pacific, North America, Central America, and South America.
Orthodontists can access it directly from “Digital Tools” > “DM SmartSTL” in the Smartee case management system, bringing new levels of convenience and efficiency to orthodontic care.
