Sonrava Health has appointed Mariah Machnikowski as chief human resources officer and Greg Michelini as chief information officer. The new hires reflect the company’s ongoing focus on people and technology as it continues to grow its operations.

Mariah Machnikowski, chief human resources officer
Machnikowski has more than 25 years of experience leading human resources functions in the retail, hospitality, and health sectors. She previously served as chief people officer at Lazy Dog Restaurants, overseeing HR strategy for over 6,000 employees. Her work centred on talent acquisition, staff development, retention, and benefits.

In 2022, she was named HR Executive of the Year by the National HR Association. She has also held board positions with the California Restaurant Association Foundation and The Collins College of Hospitality Management at Cal Poly, and participated in the California Diversity Council and the Women’s Foodservice Forum.

Greg Michelini, chief information officer
Michelini also brings over 25 years of experience, with a background in healthcare, retail, and pharmacy. He was most recently CIO at Athletico Physical Therapy, where he led technology operations across 26 states. His work included overseeing digital engagement, infrastructure, and transformation of enterprise systems.

Michelini serves as a governing body member of the Gartner Chicago CIO community and volunteers with the technical advisory committee at Ronald McDonald House Charities.

People and technology at the core
