Your Child’s First Dental Visit
When we welcome your child for their first dental visit (by the age of one), we will help them grow accustomed to the dental office and show them things like how the suction works and take them for a ride in the dental chair. Anthony Bartels, DDS will perform an exam if your child cooperates and spend some time with you, the parent, to teach you how to best care for your child’s teeth and what to expect as your child grows.
This is a great time for you to ask any questions you have about habits, such as thumb-sucking or the best foods to promote a healthy, comfortable smile for your child.
