The Oral Health Pro with CancerDetect uses artificial intelligence and proprietary RNA sequencing technology. It has a 95 percent specificity rate and a 90 percent sensitivity rate, making it the most advanced oral and throat cancer screening test available, according to a Sept. 28 news release.
In addition to detecting oral and throat cancer, the test also detects biomarkers associated with other oral health conditions, including poor gum health, cavities and fungal activity.
