Vita vionic resins validated for Rayshape 3D printers

Vita Zahnfabrik (Bad Säckingen, Germany) and Chinese technology company Rayshape (Suzhou, Jiangsu Province) have announced the validation of selected Vita vionic materials for use with Rayshape’s dental 3D printing systems. The validation aims to support the production of safe, cost-effective, and precise digital dentures.

Validated material solutions for integrated digital workflows

As part of the collaboration, two materials from the Vita vionic solutions portfolio were successfully tested and approved for compatibility with Rayshape printing systems:
• Vita vionic dent resin, validated for shape 1+dental, edge E2, and edge mini systems
• Vita vionic base resin impact, validated for shape 1+dental, edge E2 systems

According to both companies, the integration of these materials enables consistent and reproducible results for digital denture manufacturing, offering abrasion-resistant denture teeth and durable denture bases.

Collaboration strengthens the digital denture ecosystem

The validation expands Rayshape’s network of system partners in additive manufacturing and aims to provide dental laboratories with greater flexibility in digital workflows. The open Rayshape architecture, combined with the Vita vionic portfolio, is intended to support modern production strategies while maintaining quality and process reliability.
